About
This is the living, always-updating documentation for everything offered inside Crafter's Lab. If you're wondering what's included with your membership, what a specific perk actually delivers, or just want a behind-the-scenes look at how the lab runs—this is your source of truth.
As a solo builder, I know it's impossible to fit every detail into a tiny perks box. That's why these docs exist: so you always have clarity, context, and a reference for every part of the lab.
Welcome to the Lab
Hey, welcome! Whether you're a new member, a long-time member, or just curious about how things work here, I'm glad you're checking out the docs.
I built Crafter's Lab to be as open and transparent as possible—so you know exactly what you're signing up for and can make the most of your membership. The daily workshop floor is our Slack workspace, where the crew, agent workflows, and Crew Chief updates keep things moving.
How The Lab Fits Together
Think of Crafter's Lab as three connected layers: Slack is the live workshop where the crew, requests, Pulse, and AI-agent workflows move day to day; the dashboard is your home base for resources, Crew Log, Calendar, and Profile; Notion is the deeper command center for Crafter+ systems.
The docs explain those layers without turning them into hard promises. The Lab is async-first and evolving, so the goal is clear access, useful context, and practical systems rather than fixed response windows or forced content quotas.
What Each Pass Unlocks
- Builder: Slack workshop, Crew Log, Calendar, full Lab resources, and the CraftersLab newsletter.
- Crafter: everything in Builder, plus Notion teamspaces, focused Slack rooms, Crew AMA, and the request flow.
- Founder: the Crafter experience on an annual, price-locked pass.
- Mentorship: the Crafter/Founder layer plus private Cockpit, Slack-centered coaching, and direct support.
Resources
The Lab resource library starts with Builder Pass and brings guides, videos, workflow notes, templates, starter projects, and downloads together on one page. Crafter, Founder, and Mentorship add deeper spaces like Notion teamspaces, AMAs, requests, and direct support.
- AI Workflows — Prompts, agent systems, and automation recipes for solo devs.
- Code Deep Dives — Long-form implementation breakdowns with working sample code.
- Figma Foundations — Design templates and UI kits built for indie builders.
- App Blueprints — Starter projects, product patterns, and reusable systems you can fork and ship.
- Notion Ops Hub — AI-ready operating systems — roadmaps, trackers, prompt libraries, and workflows.
Why This Lab?
Solo dev life is already hard enough—finding resources, figuring out tools, and picking the right community can be overwhelming.
Crafter's Lab is my way of sharing everything I've learned, built, and curated over the years. These docs make it easier for you to see what's actually on offer (no vague promises or hand-waving), and to keep up as new perks, guides, and systems are added.
What To Do First
- Join Slack first so you can enter the live workshop and connect your account.
- Post your intro in #welcome so Crew Log can attach you to the Lab conversation layer.
- Open Resources and Calendar from the dashboard to see what is live, useful, and coming next.
- Use Profile to manage Slack access, subscription settings, and newsletter preference.
- For Crafter+ members, Slack starts the manual Notion handoff for teamspaces like Playbook, Swift Brain, Ops Lab, and Cockpit.
You're Ready for Takeoff
Whether you're ready to join the lab, already inside, or just exploring, I want these docs to help you feel at home here.
Everything I offer is here for you to see—no surprises, just real value and a builder-first community.
