For members and invited guests. Not a member yet? Request a workshop invitation.
Workshop Hour is a dependable time to bring something you are building into the conversation. Every Sunday, from 21:00 to 22:00 Malta time, I actively reply in the weekly #the-bench thread. Bring work in progress, a decision you are facing, or somewhere you are stuck, and compare approaches with me and the other builders.
Lab Slack members and invited guests are welcome. Participation is optional, there is no booking, and the conversation can continue asynchronously afterwards. This is a shared working conversation, not a scheduled class or a private review of every submission. Outside the hour, Slack remains async-first.
When and where
- When: every Sunday, 21:00–22:00 Malta time (Europe/Malta).
- Where: the week’s thread in #the-bench, the Lab’s workbench room in Slack.
- Who: everyone in the Lab’s Slack, members and invited guests.
The Community Calendar marks each Sunday’s Workshop Hour alongside resource releases.
What to bring
Something real works best: a screen you are unsure about, an agent that keeps losing context, a pricing decision, a launch you are planning. A short description of what you tried and where it stopped helping is enough to start. Quiet builders are welcome too; reading how others work through a problem is part of the value. Invited guests can read the thread, so remove passwords, keys, personal information, and client or customer details from anything you share.
What it is not
Workshop Hour is not a class, a recording, or a promise that every post gets a detailed answer during the hour. It does not replace account support, which belongs in #help-desk, or the private guidance of Crafter Mentorship.
How to join
Members join Slack from onboarding or Profile; the Slack Community guide explains the rooms. If you are not a member yet, you can request a workshop invitation to join as a guest.
