Daniel · known online as Solo Swift Crafter
Swift and Apple platform developer with a designer's eye.
I'm a solo founder building thoughtful Apple products with SwiftUI, strong product design, and AI agents that work as part of the crew—not as a shortcut around craft.
Design came first
My path started in UI and UX during the iOS 7 and iOS 8 era. That foundation still shapes how I build: hierarchy, motion, interaction, accessibility, and the feeling of a complete product matter as much as the code underneath it.
After a long freelance run, I moved deeper into Swift, SwiftUI, and Apple platform engineering, carrying that design judgment into every app and system I ship.
AI agents are teammates
I use AI heavily, but the interesting part is not a clever prompt. I build agents, automations, review loops, and operating systems that can take real responsibility across engineering, design, research, testing, and studio operations.
As Solo Swift Crafter, I create videos, deep dives, and devlogs, share original findings with the community, and host lo-fi live builds while building in public. I open up the actual workflows—including their limits—through original workshop series. No generic “me too” tutorials and no surface-level hacks.
Crafter Apps builds. Crafter's Lab teaches the system.
Crafter Apps is my solo product studio. It operates Crafter's Lab, the private workshop, developer accelerator, and AI-powered crew where solo developers can learn from the systems behind those real products.
Solo by choice. Professional by standard.
The studio focuses on modern Apple-native design, privacy-first products, and ownership-friendly pricing. Where an app offers a one-time purchase, that means lifetime access and long-term maintenance—not an endless subscription added by default.
The goal is practical progress: sharper product judgment, reusable agent systems, direct feedback, and enough craft to ship work that feels considered and complete.
Simple. Lovable. Complete.
I prefer SLC products over rushed MVPs: keep the promise focused, make the experience worth caring about, and finish the core loop. That is the standard behind my apps, workshops, mentoring, and the Crafter Code.
