Why Crafter’s Lab begins with an intentional three-year chapter, what the Lab commits to through 2029, and how we will choose what comes next.
Enough time to build something meaningful
Crafter’s Lab begins with a founding chapter from January 2027 through December 2029.
Three years gives us time to try ideas in real projects, develop useful systems, learn from what happens, and return to the work with better judgment. It also gives the commitment a clear horizon. AI is changing how we build and operate our studios, and we should stay honest about how much the craft may change.
This is a period of shared practice. It is not a three-year course or a curriculum everyone must complete.
What I’m committing to
Through December 2029, I’m committing to the continued care of the Lab: a living workshop, resources and systems that develop through use, and the member experience promised by each pass.
That means teaching from real work, maintaining the spaces and material members rely on, and helping the workshop stay useful as our tools and understanding change.
Each membership still has its own access terms. The Lab’s commitment through 2029 does not extend a canceled or expired Builder or Crafter membership. Access follows the pass and paid period you hold.
Room to evolve, with care
The tools, Teamspaces, learning paths, delivery platforms and individual features may change. A useful system today may need a different shape a year from now.
Those changes must protect the member experience and intended value. An evolving workshop is not an unrestricted right to withdraw the core experience members were promised.
We are committing to useful work and continued care, rather than promising that every current tool will stay unchanged.
Different ways to take part
Builder and Crafter members participate through their recurring membership. Their renewal, cancellation and paid-through access continue to follow their own terms.
Founder is the strongest way to commit to this shared chapter: one payment for the complete Crafter experience through its agreed end in December 2029. Every Founder’s access ends then, so joining later means the remaining part of the chapter. Founders receive the same product access as Crafters, with private recognition for helping establish the Lab that remains after access ends.
That commitment does not create a higher permission tier, ownership, voting rights or governance. It does not include private company operations, unlimited access to me, or guaranteed individual support. Direct work with me remains part of the separate Crafter Mentorship.
Read the Builder guide, Crafter guide, or Founder Pass details for what each commitment includes.
A reflection point, not a scheduled shutdown
December 2029 is a moment to look honestly at what we have built and what would be useful next.
The Lab may continue, evolve, begin another chapter or conclude. Setting that reflection point does not mean we expect the Lab to close. It means we are making a commitment we can describe clearly today without pretending the future is already decided.
Every member makes a separate choice about any successor offer. Founder does not include automatic access to every future version of the Lab, a reserved place, or a promised discount. The existing recurring offer remains governed by its own terms; this story does not silently cancel or renew anyone’s membership.
Bring your own work
You do not need to wait for a particular lesson or follow someone else’s sequence. Bring a project, a question, or a way of working you want to improve. Try things, compare approaches, and help the workshop become more useful through what you learn.
The chapter gives that work a shared horizon. What you build within it is your own.
