Crafter Mentorship
Build the studio that builds your apps.
My mentorship program for solo founders who already ship. Writing code with AI is only the first step. Together we build the system around it: your agents, their context and tools, your workflows, and the reviews that decide what ships. You own the studio and make the calls.
$2,000/month · Three-month minimum · Two Mentees at a time
Use your Lab account to introduce yourself and your studio to Crew Chief. There is no payment to begin, and I personally review every request.
Your studio compounds.
You build the studio. The studio builds your apps, one after another. When you keep what each app teaches as knowledge, skills, and workflows, it pays off on the next app, and the one after that.
The leverage is above the code.
Most builders use AI one prompt at a time. The code arrives faster, but every change still passes through their hands. Each level up hands larger pieces of work to a system you engineer, and leaves you the decisions that matter: what to build, how to verify it, and when it is finished.

Every agent runs on four things.
Context, model, prompt, and tools. When an agent gets it wrong, these four are the first place to look. Together we tune them for every agent in your studio, so your agents carry more of the building and you decide what ships.
- Context
- What the agent knows: your specs, decisions, and priorities.
- Tools
- What it can act on: files, tests, and builds.
- Model
- How it thinks: the right model for each job.
- Prompt
- What it is asked to do, and how clearly.
Slack carries the conversation. Notion keeps the work.
The mentorship runs on two tools. I set up both for you, private to us, when your mentorship begins.
Slack
Your private channel for our conversation. Bring the work and your questions, and I reply with a candid review.
Notion
Mentee’s Cockpit, your private Notion workspace, where you, I, and my AI agents work on your studio. It keeps your decisions, priorities, and studio work connected.

For founders who already ship.
This is not a course in learning to code or a tour of AI tools. It is for people who already ship software, at a job or on their own, and want their studio to carry more of the work.
It fits if
- You already ship software, at a job or on your own.
- You want AI to carry whole pieces of work, not just lines.
- You are starting your studio with your first app, or growing an existing one.
- You can execute the work and act on candid feedback.
- You will share enough context for advice to become specific.
It is not a fit if
- You are still learning to code.
- You want someone to build your apps for you.
- You are looking for a course, prompts, or templates.
- You need instant support, or a guaranteed launch, users, or revenue.
Working together.
I began as a UI/UX designer in the iOS 7 and iOS 8 era, spent years freelancing, then moved deeper into Swift and Apple platform development while building and launching my own apps. Today I run Crafter’s Lab as an AI-native studio. More about me
Where I help
- Agent roles, context, and tools
- Development workflows, from spec to review
- Product direction and what to build next
- UX and product quality
- Studio operations and working practices
- Launch and distribution decisions
You own
- The execution: features, code, designs, and marketing
- Your business and how it operates
- Your apps, studio, and intellectual property
I guide your decisions and review your work. You remain responsible for implementation and operating your studio. No mentorship can guarantee a launch, App Store approval, users, or revenue.
First steps.
There is no payment to begin. Start with a conversation, and we will both see whether the mentorship is a good fit.
- Start a conversation. Crew Chief guides you through five steps about you, your studio, and the guidance you need.
- I read it myself. Often I reply with one genuine question before we decide.
- If we are a good fit, I offer you a place, and Crew Chief sends a private checkout for your Lab account.
- Once payment is verified, I open your private Slack channel and Mentee’s Cockpit.
Crew Chief organizes the context, and I read every conversation myself. There is no checkout until I offer you a place.

Are there weekly calls?
No. The work is async-first in your private Slack channel. A live conversation happens only when the work genuinely requires one.
Can I bring more than one app?
Yes. The program covers your app studio, including its apps, agents, knowledge, and workflows. You and I choose current priorities to keep the work focused.
What if both places are taken?
Start a conversation anyway. I read every request and consider it for the next opening.
Can I cancel?
Yes. After the three-month minimum, your mentorship continues monthly until you decide to cancel.
Start with a conversation.
Tell Crew Chief about the studio you are building, how you work with agents today, and where my guidance would help.
